TELES unveils 3G/UMTS gateway TELES.iGATE
TELES Communication Systems, an innovative European telecommunications vendor, today announces the release of the next generation carrier-class TELES.iGATE platform supporting 3G/UMTS.
The new TELES.iGATE is the 3rd generation of TELES’ leading mobile gateways, supporting 3G/UMTS, GSM and CDMA networks. TELES.iGATE 3G/UMTS offers connectivity to the latest mobile technology enjoying the fast growth of 3G networks. TELES’ mobile gateway supports carrier and corporate applications.
TELES.iGATE collects network traffic and terminates via PRI and/or VoIP to 3G/UMTS networks. TELES’ integrated carrier-class functionality provides standard interconnection signaling, integrated LCR (least cost routing) engine for load balancing, prepaid SIMs and network availability. TELES.iGATE supports mobile number portability look-up for routing calls to the right mobile network even if the destination number is ported.
TELES.iGATE connects corporate networks to 3G/UMTS wireless networks. Our advance gateway enables field employees (e.g. support engineers, sales, etc.) to connect to their corporate network. The integrated LCR engine automatically selects the right route for each call.
