TELES increases Middle Eastern footprint
TELES, the German VoIP and Next Generation Networks telecoms solutions provider, has unveiled plans to increase its footprint in the Middle East with the announcement that it intends to open a flagship TELES showroom in Dubai, U.A.E.
A joint-initiative with TELES System Partner GMS VoIPMONSTER, one of the fastest-growing next generation VoIP consulting, solutions and service providers in the Middle East, the Berlin-based telecoms solutions provider sees the step as a springboard from which it can increase its presence and business activities in the region.
Announcing the move which will see TELES take up permanent residence in a prime Dubai Internet City location from mid-November, TELES Product Marketing Manager Thomas Haydn said:

TELES intends to use the new Dubai base to display and provide live demonstrations of its SME customer premises equipment (VoIP switches and media gateways, least-cost routers and network management solutions) as well as carrier-grade VoIP solutions including its successful iGATE and iSWITCH equipment ranges.
One of the undoubted showroom highlights will be the new TELES.MGC softswitch solution. According to TELES, the TELES.MGC guarantees optimized market competitiveness as it enables operators to interconnect to the diverse range of protocols and technologies being adopted today (including SIP, H.323, MGCP, ISDN and SS7). TELES is promoting MGC as the solution of choice for carriers seeking an advanced, open and fully-distributed Class 4 media controller with outstanding performance and optimal scalability.
