IC CENTREX deploys...
...a TELES gateway to complete the first interconnection between FRANCE TELECOM using SSUTR2 and Active Telecom’s MOSAICA® IP Centrex solution using SIP. TELES Communication Systems, an innovative European telecommunications vendor, and IC Centrex, an innovative French IP Centrex operator, have successfully deployed a TELES gateway to interconnect with MOSAICA®, Active Telecom's IP Centrex class 5 solution, connected to the incumbent FRANCE TELECOM. The TELES solution is competitive as it enables VoIP operators to interconnect their VoIP networks to incumbents using SS7 signaling networks and providing portability services to their end users.
The Teles gateway terminates SIP traffic directly to IP MOSAICA®, the IC Centrex Class 5 platform manufactured by Active Telecom, and connects to France Telecom using SSUTR2/SIP. "TELES technology helped us win this strategic project," said Goël HADDOUK, managing director and founder of IC Centrex. "The TELES solution enables us to compete with tier 1 operators and provide our corporate customers with the tailor made service they deserve. We now have our own number portability and we can benefit from better termination.
