backTELES: International distribution of skyDSL now reaches Spain
International distribution of the skyDSL service has now been extended to include the Spanish market. Having launched distribution partnerships for Western Russia, Poland and Greece, TELES established partnerships to market skyDSL in Spain, signing agreements with Spantel 2000 S.A.U., Marin Telecom S.L.U., Debitelco S.L. and Sunline Communications S.L.
Particularly for those living outside of the metropolitan areas, the patent-protected, tried-and-tested skyDSL service often represents the only chance of profiting from the advantages of high-speed Internet. As opposed to terrestrial broadband Internet, this wireless broadband Internet access service via satellite is also available area-wide in Spain.
The low-priced skyDSL service is a truly high-speed Internet access, offering download speeds of up to 24,000 Kbit/s. skyDSL can be received in Spain over a Eutelsat satellite located at 33° east.
As Andreas Krüger, TELES board member responsible for marketing skyDSL, points out, "The launch of distribution partnerships for the Spanish market provides a further important impetus for the international distribution of skyDSL".
