TELES: skyDSL Sales Launch in Great Britain

The skyDSL service, TELES' Europe-wide wireless broadband Internet access via satellite, will be sold as of now through British Broadband Satellite Solutions Ltd. (BSS). TELES' marketing partner will launch their sales offensive across the entire UK, offering the entry-level package from as little as £5.99 (approx. €8.70) per month, an offer that is significantly below current market rates for broadband Internet access in the UK. The most popular choice in the portfolio is the flatrate package for £19.99.

The skyDSL service - patent-protected and winner of several awards - is available area-wide within the footprint of the Eutelsat satellite in the entire UK. skyDSL enables Internet users across Britain to benefit from one of the globally leading Internet access standards in a simple to use and cost-efficient manner, with access speeds of up to 16,000Kbit/s. At present, 7 million British "TV-satellite dishes" are pointing near 33° East, which is the position for reception of the skyDSL service. All of these viewers will be able to enjoy this unrivalled and powerful broadband Internet access service by using their satellite TV dishes, if necessary following minor modifications of the satellite antennae.

Andreas Krüger, TELES board member responsible for marketing skyDSL, points out: "The launch of the skyDSL service by a strong marketing partner like Broadband Satellite Solutions in one of skyDSL's core markets is another important step towards implementing TELES' international sales strategy."
