TELES: Release of STRATO-Sale

This message is due to the German AnSVG, § 13 (1) and § 15 (1).

The German Federal Cartel Office today has approved, without imposing any condition, the sale of TELES' webhosting division to freenet.de AG. Therefore, TELES has just waived the last closing condition for the execution of the agreement with freenet.de. It now must be executed immediately. Thus, the sale will be completed by the time of the extraordinary TELES' general assembly, to which shareholders were called because of this sale and which will be held on February 1st 2005 for final appreciation of the transaction and preclusion of potentially remaining legal risks.
