Welcome to the second edition of the TELES Newsletter!

Over the last few weeks we've been even busier than usual at TELES. I have to admit, I'm a bit worried about our R&D team because they don't seem to have homes to go to...

But I guess that they are just as excited as I am about some of the new stuff we have coming through right now: SIP Trunking 2.0, for example.

The latest TELES software update (3.6) now supports the full integration of an enterprise PBX to a TELES Class 5 softswitch for trunking, whilst adding value with numerous services such as FMC for homeworkers. This means that enterprises do not need to replace legacy PBX equipment thanks to the ISDN replacement and emulation capabilities of all major ISDN supplementary services.

Korean vendor NewGrid joins forces with TELES as carrier-grade media gateway partner

TELES has sealed a technology partnership with leading Korean converged network solutions provider NewGrid for their carrier-grade, low-power-footprint, and high density media gateway.

As part of the TELES NGN Solution, the NewGrid Compact Media Gateway will serve as a scalable and reliable building block for carriers and providers looking to deploy high-density, high availability VoIP systems. Combined with the TELES C4 softswitch and its extensive and comprehensive standards of protocol conformity, providers can expect smooth and seamless integration with the media gateway thanks to the rigorous interoperability tests conducted successfully prior to the agreement.

Vanrise Solutions: Partnership expanded to include customer support

Lebanese tech partner to provide dedicated TELES customer support in the Middle East

This summer, Vanrise Solutions successfully completed the rigorous TELES Certification Workshop for Next Generation Networks Solutions, entitling them to provide dedicated full customer service and support in the region for these products. In addition to its powerful T.One Billing and Routing Solutions, Vanrise will now be providing bundled solutions with TELES C4 switches that will be characterized by flexible pricing schemes and beneficial SLA terms.

Euroweb Romania: TELES end-to-end solution the right choice

Romanian service provider Euroweb Romania replaces multi-vendor solution with TELES wholesale solution

Identifying TELES as a vendor for the required solution, Euroweb Romania selected TELES C4 softswitch in addition to the TELES Captura WTP (Wholesale Trading Platform), which makes life easier for operators with Least Cost Routing (LCR), customer prepaid control, and billing. The Captura WTP provides operators with the full spectrum of wholesale and retail functionality to improve and simplify business workflow and activities for supplier and customer. Functionality includes, for example, data import for destination mapping, multiple currency and billing increments, time zone definitions, full cost comparability, routing management, flexible account management, as well as complete commercial control for margin overview and identification of loss situations.

The event is billed as Germany's most important congress for IT, telco, and mobile communication – so be sure to catch us here too!
